How do I manage notifications, appearance, and my account data?

Your Account tab puts all of your Hebrew settings, notifications, and privacy controls in one place.

Hebrew settings (Account > Settings)

• Hebrew learning track: switch between Modern Hebrew and Biblical Hebrew anytime without losing progress in either track.
• Show pronunciation (English letters): turn Latin transliteration on or off under your coach's Hebrew and in corrections.
• Show Hebrew vowel marks (Niqqud): turn vowel marks on or off for your current track.
• Corrections: choose Let me talk (fewer corrections), Just right (one useful fix when it matters), or Correct me more (the small things too).
• Coach: switch between Noam, Ayala, Yarden, Eitan, and Oren.
• Language note: for Hebrew learners, the app interface and your coach's explanations are in English, while your practice stays in Hebrew.
• Appearance: choose System, Light, or Dark theme.

Notifications (Account > Notifications)

Control practice check-ins from your coach, reply notifications when the app is closed, and lock-screen message privacy, or tap Send me a test to verify notifications on your device.

Download your data or delete your account

Under Account > Settings > Your data:

• Tap Download to export a JSON file (`verbalta-export.json`) containing your conversations, corrections, progress, and settings.
• Tap Delete my account and type `delete my account` to permanently remove your transcripts, corrections, and progress and cancel any active subscription.
